Lost or Stolen Cards

Lost or Stolen cards need to be reported immediately day or night at 800-272-7328 (toll-free), or 281-285-4551 (local and international).  To report lost or stolen Debit Cards, chose options 2, 3, 4. To report lost or stolen Credit Cards, chose options 2, 4, 4. After you have reported the lost or stolen card, we will immediately block the card. Contact SECU's Member Services to reissue your card via Net24 Online Banking Secure Messaging Center.  Relevant Fees will be accessed for replacement cards and PINs.

Inactive Cards

If your card is inactive for over a 6-month period, you will need to contact SECU to reactivate. If your card is left in the inactive state for over 1 year, the card account will be closed and all accumulated ScoreCard rewards points will be lost.

Travel Notice

If you are planning to travel outside of the country, make sure to send us a travel notice. Use your Net 24 Online Banking send the form. Click Here for Travel Notice instructions.

Credit Card Limitations

You may not use the SECU Credit Card to purchase cryptocurrency or to fund crypto wallets.

*Contactless payment available on newly issued SECU Visa Cards. Look for the contactless logo on your card. When your current card expires and a new one is reissued, or a new one is requested, it will come contactless enabled. Contactless payment available at participating merchants.

SECU Credit Cards are no longer able to access your checking and savings accounts at ATM terminals. This change is due to an update in Visa regulations.

If you currently have a checking account, but do not have an active SECU Debit Card, please send us a secure message via Net24 requesting a new Debit Card. In this message, we will need you to verify your mailing address to ensure secure mailing.

If you currently do not have a Checking Account, we welcome you to apply for one. Please use our US Online Application Portal or

Non-US Application Portal w/o SSN.
